I have no shame putting this post up one day after Valentine’s Day. What is the point of the holiday if you only celebrate it one day? That is why I like Christmas and Thanksgiving…you get to celebrate their happiness more than one day. I would not call David and I “Valentines” kinda people anyway. I do not expect more than a good meal, and we get those all the time, so it is kind of like we celebrate love all year. Maybe that is why I love him so much- I get to be his Valentine all year. And, Tess is well aware that she is loved. So we all win.
It never hurts to say it out loud though, or even on the internet.
