We jumped right into 2011 with two amazing weddings! I am super excited to gear back up again this weekend with Trey & Michele, and start off this amazing wedding season.

I wanted to tell you about a little side project that I started up during some down time, Simply Southern Blog. This is an upgrade from our personal blog. I am sharing photography stuff, but also just having fun taking pictures… sharing little recipes, home improvement projects, more pics of our puppy dogs, photo tips, and fun finds around town. Bo and Bridget were married on the MOST PERFECT day in all of January! Does everyone remember the burst of warm weather that came in the last weekend of January? Yes, that is the one…just for Bridget’s wedding day! We were so excited that everyone could enjoy the day, the joy of the warmth outside, and truly celebrate such a wonderful event. You all may remember them from their E:Session (both HERE and HERE) with us a few months earlier? It was so exciting to celebrate alongside such a laid back and truly in-love couple!

It was beyond fun being with Hulet and Ariel on their post-snowpocalypse wedding day a few weekends ago! Ariel did such a wonderful job with all her details, I am going to try to include as many as I can in this wedding day preview!
