Piedmont Park Family Portraits x2!

Over the holiday break I had the pleasure of photographing two of the sweetest families!  Both families are very close and wanted to schedule their sessions so that we could overlap time and grab some quick photos all together! Since they all were in town for an event, and had traveled from all ends of the city to be together, we met up in Piedmont Park.

Moments that happen between photos are sometime the very best ones!

Getting to know these families was so much fun!

I had a lot of fun with family #2 as well!  Aren’t these boys the sweetest?!?

I love this photo because it is not only a celebration of being together, but for a happy new year!

We had to get some photos with their favorite auntie!!

Thank you for braving the cold, and wind during our time together!  I wish both families a wonderful 2013!

Atlanta Family & Pet Photographer | The Browns

I was so excited to meet The Browns in Marietta for our second Holiday session together!  I was also excited to hear that this year they were going to take part in supporting the Atlanta Lab Rescue!  They have a sweet chocolate lab named Carlie, and as you can see, she got to have some fun too!

I have fallen in LOVE with photo sessions with pets.  They truly are a part of our families!

I had to include this little clip…it TOTALLY depicts the character of a pet photography session!  (which I love)

Mason + Magnolia

We never get any trick-or-treaters on Halloween.  So, this year I wanted to get out of the house and enjoy an afternoon in all the beautiful fall color!  And, introduce our newest member of the family to you all…Magnolia.

With our trusted tri-pod in hand we went to the nearest park to snap some photos and enjoy the afternoon.  This was, like so many other things, bitter sweet.  Tess was my ultimate, perfect poser and always looked right at the camera when she was supposed to.  This was our first family photo time without her.

This season I have been doing, or trying to do, family photo sessions in her honor.  All the proceeds go to the Atlanta Lab Rescue, where we also got our new little love bug, Maggie.  There is not a bit of bitter in the sweet orphans heart, all sweetness, all love.  We are so thankful for how she is helping us all to heal from our broken hearts.

I wanted to also grab a couple new head-shots, for business use, etc.  Thank you to David, his patience with me and encouragement in front of the camera was much needed…I am waaaaaayyyy more comfortable BEHIND the lens!

Mason, our two year old Hound dog, wonder dog!

Miss Magnolia, the new princess around the house.  She is a one year old black lab, and we are pretty sure she will not be getting any bigger…this is rare for labs!  It is a nice size for around our little home.  We love her so much!

Much deserved play time!  With no photographer with us, trying to get two very young dogs to STAY while I ran back and forth from the camera was a feat!  But, we got a few, and then they got to romp!

Atlanta Pet Photographer | Annette + Coco

This season ABJ Photography is giving back to the Lab community through Atlanta Lab Rescue!  I am so excited to share one of our first lifestyle pet photography sessions with you!  Coco was such a great hostess and model!  I loved this photography session because it involved so many things our lab’s love: couches, kisses, running, outdoors, parks, and chasing squirrels!

I am so thankful for each of our clients that have chosen to help support the Atlanta Lab Rescue this season!  These sessions warm my heart, because I can honor the life of my best friend Tess, and help out other labs who need loving homes.  These dogs have a great capacity to love, no matter what they have come through!

Thank you Annette and Coco for such a fun afternoon!  You two are a great pair!
