The Story behind our Storybooks

I can personally tell you, as a “do it yourselfer” and “photographer” I thought I could EASILY put together my own wedding album. I mean, there are so many online places these days my kind of people might think it a breeze. BUT…the truth is that there is NOTHING like your professionally done wedding album. I promise.

First, you receive your boutique packages album on your doorstep. The anticipation is killing you, because you know you LOVED your wedding pictures, and these are your VERY FAVORITE images! It is not only an album, it is YOUR story, YOUR personal day told through your very favorite images, in one leather bound album! This is what to expect from our wedding albums…detail, leather, flush mounted, creative, and timeless. The story of YOUR day!The image above is an example of “flush bound” albums. They are bound in such a way that when you have the book open all the way images are viewed clean across the book. There is not a gap or deep crevice like you might find in a library book binding. This allows us to be very creative while designing your album. Something that each of our brides get to participate in, no book is ever created without the help of our brides! The interior design of each page varies, and because we are not just pasting images in squares, there are many layout options. We are also able to incorporate many different images, accentuating your very favorites, while also including the traditional images such as family

Your wedding day story is truly complete with your wedding album. I cannot express the way I felt the day I received my album. It was a sense of living the day over again, sweet memories, and also the final touches to a perfect event. We highly encourage you to ask us about your wedding day album when looking forward for your special day!

**Our wedding albums are included in our Wedding Packages. There are also Parent Albums available that mirror your 10×10 album, but just as a smaller version.

Our 1st Anniversary!

One year ago today my husband, David, and I were married in Asheville, NC!!! What a year it has been! So full of growing moments, fun memories, creating traditions, and tons of laughs. I just wanted to take a minute to share some of our favorite images with you, and also do a little reminiscing myself.

The wedding day is such an event. We spend countless hours preparing, planning, convincing, stressing, questioning, and giggling over the details. Then, in a flash the day is over! But, thanks to wedding day images we can relive the event over and over, get a glimpse into details we do not remember or were not around to see go down, and pick new favorites!

It is our pleasure to serve our brides, and capture those very moments! And, we enjoy ourselves along the way. Thank YOU for walking through our day and down memory lane with us today! Happy Anniversary David! I love you!

Whitney & Allen are engaged! vol.2- Atlanta Engagment Session

I promised two blogs, and I was not lying! It has been such a pleasure going through all of our pictures from yesterday, there are so many good ones it is hard to choose. So, please take a peak at the slideshow at the end of this post for more images!

Thank you Whitney and Allen for your willingness to go outside your comfort zone, get a little dirty, and for providing such a lovely afternoon. We look forward to celebrating your wedding day, and documenting it in style! See you soon!

This was the first image of the day…what naturals!

It is so fun when an idea turns out better than you thought, and this railroad track provided some great depth of field that I was not expecting!

David had the idea for this shot, and we think it came out well.

Whitney & Allen are engaged! vol.1- Atlanta Engagment Session

We had the best afternoon with Whitney and Allen today!
I first met Whitney at a Starbucks a few months ago. Right off the bat I knew that her wedding would be a blast to photograph, and that they were going to be awesome people to get to know! I got to hear about all the fun details that she and her mom had planned already, and a bit about Allen too. We chatted a little about what their engagement session was going to look like, and I hope that the images we got today bring a smile to your face, because they certainly do mine! So much so that I have to do a double blog!!! David was joking around at the end of the session about how I was not going to be able to wait to get these images online. He knows me to well! So, tonight for your viewing pleasure, I present my favorites from David’s point of view! I LOVE the way that he captured these images! They really highlight some of our day. Enjoy! And, check back soon for vol. 2!

Whitney’s eyes are SO beautiful!
