As dog owners we all have stories to tell, and the story of my family has always included pets! I grew up with dogs and a kitty named “Boo,” and when I was independent enough to own a dog I adopted Tess in 2006.
Tess was my greatest companion and friend, loyal to a fault and wiser than many. When I married David in 2008 he got a “package deal”!
We adopted a hound mix in 2010. His antics and personality really livened things up around our home!
In August of 2012 we lost our sweet angel, and anchor of our home- Tess. The final weeks with her and the loss of her companionship in our home really drove me to take life into perspective. Her passing was a significant loss in my life, but the truth is she left me with a gift – a change in perspective.
It is out of that loss that I have gained perspective on what I really want to share through my photography, showcasing pet photography through portraits, at weddings, events, or family photos including your dogs!
In the age of digital overload, I want to give your family a beautiful, tangible, and high-quality product you can immediately display in your home. I strive to showcase true to life images, cherished keep-sakes.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of traveling to East Atlanta for a pet photography session! I had so much fun with Moose (Sr. Chocolate lab), Cooper (5 year old Golden Retriever), and Cornchip (Beagle mix rescue)! These three are full of personality and even though Moose was not a big fan of the camera I think we were still able to capture some of his charming personality- he is a sweet boy! We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon outside, and I hope these guys slept well that night, they did such a great job working for the camera and we had a lot of fun.
The Milton Ladies Lacrosse team holds a special place in my photographer heart! I had no idea a few years ago when I started photographing some of the ladies on the team just what a powerhouse these they are! Just a few weekends ago I had the pleasure of continuing the tradition with Taylor! We had an amazing afternoon and Milton High School all to ourselves!
Thank you so much for such a fun afternoon! Best wishes and good luck at Kennesaw State University!

If you love Yorkies you are going to fall in love with Wilson! I sure did…I had the best time this past week over at his home capturing true to life images in his favorite spots around the house. Wilson’s mom contacted me about a Joy Session because Wilson has been battling cancer and already has been through four rounds of chemo. He has tremendous strength and so much personality! I loved getting to know he and his mom, and I can tell that they have a very special bond. This afternoon was all about them, and I know that you will feel the connection, personality, spunk, and love spilling from these images.
The image below is one of my all time favorites, I just LOVE how he holds that little ball in his mouth! He is the BEST yorkie retriever that I have met! You will notice that tennis ball in a few more images, it is one of his favorite toys.
One of Wilson’s favorite places in his home is the office. From there he can keep an eye on all the chipmunks, and watch to see when his family comes home.
After some indoor play time we headed outside for more fetch and a few more photos. Wilson showed me around the yard and even started to bring the ball to me for a toss…I always consider that a high honor!
Thank you so much to Elizabeth and Wilson for such a fun afternoon. My hope is that these images would help your heart fill with love when you see them, today and years from now. Thank you for allowing me to showcase your special connection. Sending strength and courage to you and Wilson for the journey ahead.
