We never get any trick-or-treaters on Halloween. So, this year I wanted to get out of the house and enjoy an afternoon in all the beautiful fall color! And, introduce our newest member of the family to you all…Magnolia.
With our trusted tri-pod in hand we went to the nearest park to snap some photos and enjoy the afternoon. This was, like so many other things, bitter sweet. Tess was my ultimate, perfect poser and always looked right at the camera when she was supposed to. This was our first family photo time without her.
This season I have been doing, or trying to do, family photo sessions in her honor. All the proceeds go to the Atlanta Lab Rescue, where we also got our new little love bug, Maggie. There is not a bit of bitter in the sweet orphans heart, all sweetness, all love. We are so thankful for how she is helping us all to heal from our broken hearts.
I wanted to also grab a couple new head-shots, for business use, etc. Thank you to David, his patience with me and encouragement in front of the camera was much needed…I am waaaaaayyyy more comfortable BEHIND the lens!
Mason, our two year old Hound dog, wonder dog!
Miss Magnolia, the new princess around the house. She is a one year old black lab, and we are pretty sure she will not be getting any bigger…this is rare for labs! It is a nice size for around our little home. We love her so much!
Much deserved play time! With no photographer with us, trying to get two very young dogs to STAY while I ran back and forth from the camera was a feat! But, we got a few, and then they got to romp!
