As dog owners we all have stories to tell, and the story of my family has always included pets! I grew up with dogs and a kitty named “Boo,” and when I was independent enough to own a dog I adopted Tess in 2006.

Tess was my greatest companion and friend, loyal to a fault and wiser than many. When I married David in 2008 he got a “package deal”!

In August of 2012 we lost our sweet angel, and anchor of our home- Tess. The final weeks with her and the loss of her companionship in our home really drove me to take life into perspective. Her passing was a significant loss in my life, but the truth is she left me with a gift – a change in perspective.
It is out of that loss that I have gained perspective on what I really want to share through my photography, showcasing pet photography through portraits, at weddings, events, or family photos including your dogs!
