I am always making lists…I make lists for my lists, ha-ha! I have used goal setting on another blog and I wanted to incorporate goals into my planning and blogging for ABJ Photography this year. Especially since this year we are shifting our business over to specialize in Pets + People! Y’all…this is becoming such a heart project for me.
I am sorry if you have heard my story before. But, this past year I lost my sweet Tess. I cannot form the words to explain the shift that happened in my life at that time. The trauma, the blessing, the tears, the joy, the strength, and the miracles…they shaped me, they changed me. Her loss is propelling me into something new, a new passion for what I do as a photographer. I am not completely stepping away from what I have been doing for the past five years, but into a more specialized position. My goal is to provide beautiful, tangible, and high-quality images to be displayed in your homes of our families…our whole family…dogs included.
Below is a photo that I found today of Tess and I back in 2009. My business was so new, and we were just getting settled in the Roswell area, taking one of our many walks in the woods, or on the Greenway. I am so thankful for her life, and the way I have felt led to lead a life of truth and passion in my photography since losing her. Below are some goals I am setting for the rest of this month, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you!

February Goals:
– Transition our Website, Blog, and Facebook to reflect our updated brand
– Pack up our house…because we are MOVING! (not far)
– Work Life Balance, we are in a busy season of life, but faith & family come first!
– Order new media
– Document our dogs in our current home before we move
I am SO excited! 2013 is going to be an amazing year, and I am so thankful for the support of friends, family, and loyal clients! Y’all are so important to me- THANK YOU!
