I first met Tanya and Hugh last year during the rainy season we had….remember those days of constant rain? They were brave enough to meet me, and by the end of our time together we were making plans for their engagement session- certain that David and I would be able to share their wedding day with them. It is always so fun to meet new people and completely click in that first meeting! We followed up our time together a little while later in Marietta, GA as we shared an awesome afternoon together for their E:Session.
The anticipation for this wedding has been great, and we were so happy a few weeks ago to celebrate Hugh and Tanya’s wedding day! I met the ladies at Tanya’s home and David met the guys at the Emory Conference Center Hotel that morning. It was so fun riding over to Callanwolde Fine Art Center with the ladies in their stretch Hummer limo! Everyone was so relaxed, and Tanya totally set the tone for the day…very cool, calm, and collected! She seriously reminded me of a Princess. Maybe it was the beautiful gown, how light on her feet she was, or the amazing glow that she had all day…simply amazing. They celebrated with family and friends well into the night, and we were so thankful to go on this journey with them!

Hugh and Tanya were so sweet to share their wedding day with one of the groomsman, recognizing his birthday more than once in celebration. I thought this moment was so sweet- just after his birthday wishes were announced.
Tanya was the queen of the dance floor all night! I loved how she hardly missed a song, and gave the DJ a run for his money! She also did something I have never seen before with her bouquet- writing well wishes and fortunes on each small bunch of flowers. So when she released them to ALL the female guests (not just single ones) many of them went home with small bouquets and good fortune!
We also thought this interaction with Hugh’s mom was hilarious!
Oh my goodness y’all we had a blast with you on your wedding day! We wish you a lifetime of happiness! Thank you for trusting us with your wedding day photos, and we hope to stay in touch!
Oh I love the Callenwolde center! I live within walking distance and I am always sighing thinking ” OMG I would love to photograph a wedding there!” great pics!
Nice Venue! I love the image of the Bride going down the stairs by herself, and the image of her from the back in the middle of the staircase!
Great Work
Alana & David- You were an absolute joy to work with! Hugh & I have had such a wonderful time getting to know you, and having you hang out with us throughout our wedding day was awesome! The pictures all turned out so great!! We are dying to see the rest! 🙂 Thank you for the amazing job you did in capturing our special day for us to look back upon and remember, always!

Wow… stunning photography! Tanya, you are such a breathtakingly beautiful bride. Love the dress! What a wonderful day for the both of you and many wishes for a lifetime of true happiness together.
Tanya and Hugh, these pictures capture just perfectly those special moments that you always want to remember from your most wonderful and amazing day…15 yrs later, these “moments” will be as precious to you as they are today. I can’t say just how radiant and fabulous it was to see you both glow the way you did that day…The word “Princess” as Alana said, was EXACTLY what came to my mind the moment I saw Tanya in that dress, so serene and calmly Regal. And then my breath came back! 😉 Thank YOU BOTH for allowing me to be a part of this…Love you!
DAVID AND ALANA— thank goodness I, ( ahem…my tush) didn’t get in any of those excellent pictures you both took, all night long! Especially while I was flagging people down the aisle!! AHHAH!!!! I was worried 😉

Seeing these pictures made me feel like I was able to be a part of your special day without being there. You are beautiful on any given day but you looked exceptionally so this day!
