The most precious of all gifts, a brand new sister! Welcoming home their one week old sister the Devassy boys are gushing with joy this Holiday! I was honored to meet them yesterday in Brookhaven for a newborn family portrait session. These images are really putting me in the Christmas spirit as I remember the joy in our own home each year we had a new baby. Congratulations to all of the families welcoming new little one’s this year!

Holiday Family and Pet Photography Roswell | The Rotolo Family

In an effort to spread the Christmas Spirit I am working to get all of my MOST FESTIVE family portrait sessions up on the blog! This season has been so full and so fun. I met the Rotolo family for the first time this year and I really loved the Holiday sweaters they had for their pups! Such a fun pop of color, and so cute for a Christmas card. This photo session was also a gift for their parents! The gift of family or pet portraits is always a gift that will last and bring a smile all year!

Family photography Candler Park | The Walsh Family

This past weekend I got to shoot for the first time in Candler Park! The Walsh family are lucky enough to live on the park and we enjoyed a BIRSK morning photo session close to home. One aspect of this session that I really loved was how it really turned into more of a “lifestyle session” and what I mean by that is once the weather caught up to us we found ourselves back at their home having a really great time. I was able to get fun images of them in the spaces that really host their daily memories. It was great to get warm but in the end it was also really great to flip the session and capture another style of images. I hope that all of them really bring a smile to their faces each time they look back and remember this season of life!

Marietta Dog Photographer | Manolo + Maisy

Last weekend I met Manolo, the sweetest senior pit mix, and her new kid sister Maisy, a goofy girl with lots of energy! We had some play time in their yard and got to play fetch and eat lots of sticks and treats. It was a really beautiful and warm Autumn day in Georgia. I love pet photography sessions because our dogs are a major part of our family! Having great photos of them to hang on your wall, add to the fridge, or use as a holiday card is bound to bring a smile each day. So, whether you hire a professional or take them yourself, get down low and try to capture some of the unconditional love they share with you. I promise you will be so glad you did!

Family Photographer Atlanta | The Barbara Family

I have to blog one more family photography session tonight because #AtlantaFamilyPhotographer #BusySeason y’all!

One of the most fun parts of my job is reconnecting with people each year, or even years down the road! I know I have said that I few times in the past few weeks, but it is the truth. Several years ago when David and I were still shooting weddings, and even just in the early years of starting out, we took part in “I Do” at the park, a wedding event in Piedmont Park. We shot three weddings that day that were intimate and fun. One of the cutest couples were Josie and Christophe, and I was really excited to see them again in the same location with their (soon to be ONE) little boy. As time has passed we have been connected by a few other co-workers and past clients. I really hope we get to continue this story telling of their lives for many years to come!
