Thank you!

We are back from vacation…a much needed vacation!  Thank you to all our clients, friends, emailers, and such that have been waiting for us to return and get back to work.  We appreciate all the support, and for you all allowing us to break away from everyday life a little bit and catch up with family (some we have not seen since our wedding over 2 YEARS AGO!!!).  I am happy to be back and getting things done!  We will be in touch soon, if we have not already, and I am editing editing editing…even in my dreams! haha!

Here is a picture of our whole crazy crew down at Kure Beach!

Trey & Michele :: UGA Engagement Session

I love how Michele and I met.  In the kitchen of the Governor’s mansion, the day of the Easter Egg hunt.  Michele had already contacted me at the time, but was connected to me through a co-worker of mine here at the capitol as well.  It was SO fun getting to chat her up right there about her wedding, wedding planning (quite the event coordinator that she is), and our further connection to YL and some sweet friends.  Oh, this small small world.

We later met Trey when we had drinks at our favorite coffee spot.  They came to Roswell to meet us, and we felt an immediate connection with them!  So naturally, now that we had another opportunity to get to know them even more we were really excited! David and I met up with them on the campus of UGA this past weekend.  I was really impressed with the beauty of the campus and loved hearing little stories as we walked about their relationship in Athens….walking to class, favorite food places, etc.

We had a really great time, and were so thankful for the little rain shower that came in and cleared campus for us!  Thanks for some great pizza and our tour of UGA!  We look forward to March!

This was one of the last shots of the day, but I love this photo.  Something about the sweetness of it.  Something that seems timeless…

Eric & Mary Frances Married :: Olde Town Athletic Club Wedding Reception

After a few photos at Peachtree Presbyterian we headed over to Olde Town Athletic Club in Marietta.  Eric and Mary Frances were welcomed to the party by a ton of loving friends and family!  The band was amazing and kept the party going all night.  We had a blast watching how much fun the guests were having, and the night flew by so fast!

Eric and Mary Frances, we wish you two so much happiness and joy in life together!  Thank you for having us with you on your wedding day!

Eric & Mary Frances Married : Peachtree Presbyterian Church (part one)

We first showed you Eric and Mary Frances a few months ago… we hung out with them over in Roswell and had a really fun E:Session.  We really appreciate how our relationship with them has grown.  Starting out at our favorite coffee shop, chatting over details of how they met, YL, and wedding plans.  We then had the chance to laugh a lot with them during their engagement session, and I think we both left that time together wanting to be real friends…I know that we did!

Their wedding day totally snuck up on us, it felt like just yesterday we were taking those Engagement photos.  The day was really chill and full of family and love.  I met Mary Frances with her mom at their little salon in Sandy Springs.  It was fun not only documenting that time, but how they worked simultaneously pulling together the day on their cell phones!  We then went over to her parents house and continued getting ready.  As family, wedding party, and guests trickled in I knew that we had a fabulous celebration ahead of us.

David met up with the guys over at Eric’s soon after he dropped me off at the salon.  They were just hanging out, having some food, and getting ready.  Then, they headed out to catch a little bit of the semi-final World Cup game at Taco Mac.

The ceremony was held at Peachtree Presbyterian church in Buckhead.  This was our first time shooting at such a grand church.  They are steeped in tradition, and I could tell from conversations with the family and photos at the reception it was also a very special place for Eric and Mary Frances. Mary Frances grew up in the church, her parents were married there, and it is where Eric and Mary Frances started their relationship!

Mary Frances wore her mom’s beautiful veil!

While the ladies were getting ready the guys were out front taking pictures, trying to stay out of the hot summer sun, and by the looks of the photos having fun as well!

I love these interactions, just before the ceremony is to begin…

Love this shot David caught from the balcony…Eric, his brother, and father…all full of emotion.

Yay!  Married!!!

More details and the reception coming VERY soon!
