Welcome baby PJ! It was a true joy to catch up with former wedding clients Pat and Jen as they welcome their precious baby boy. Our session was full of laughter and loving glances, you PJ are so loved! Being around newborns brings back such raw feelings of new beginnings and authenticity. It is hard not to be thankful for this life in the presence of a new baby. And, I was certainly thankful that Pat and Jen got in touch with me to help continue documenting their family memories! I love the last shot in this series, a gorgeous canvas print we captured for them on their wedding day!! Roswell GA Family Photography | Pugliese Family

It was a HOT Hot hot weekend here in the Atlanta area! I could not believe that it was so hot outside for our early morning family photo session in Roswell, but we found some great shade and cooled off in the AC a little bit. Annabella was a sweetie and did so well with her photos! She loved playing with her Mommy and singing songs during our session. It was a joy to be around such a loving and warm family, and to capture some sweet memories for them. Annabella’s adoption was recently completed and this session was also a milestone moment for this family!

Adopt A Golden Atlanta Photography | Bailey

This year I was excited to donate one photography session to Adopt A Golden Atlanta. After years of volunteering with Atlanta Lab Rescue, and donating many many many hours of adoption day photography and portrait sessions to their Bark for Art event, I thought it would be fun to branch out a little bit! Our first family dog was a golden named “Abby” so this really was fun for me. Special thanks to Adopt A Golden for allowing me to participate, and to the Bowersox family for bidding on this auction item!

Meet Bailey, one of the sweetest golden retrievers on the planet! She is around 10 years old, she loves the kids in her neighborhood, and was happy to just be close to you. She also serves as a host to adorable puppies who are training to be guide dogs and assisted living dogs! We had a great afternoon capturing some images of her in her element. I really hope that these images help keep Bailey’s loving spirit alive in your home for years to come, and that she approves of her glamour shots. 🙂

Who needs a welcome mat when you have this smiling face greet you at the door!?!

It’s A Girl!

Catching up on some long over due blog posts and I wanted to share our news…we are expecting a baby GIRL in October! We are so excited and just praying that she is healthy and happy in my belly as she develops. We had some fun making the announcement on Mother’s Day, and Will had fun helping! I know that I have not shared a lot of personal stuff on the blog lately. I guess all I can say is that I have been busy being the best mom to Will that I can be, and now that it is warm out again we are on the go and outside a lot. I do get out for a few sessions a month, and have a blast continuing my love for photography. My new roll as mom has also helped me re-focus my business, and I hope to be the easiest decision you will ever make in choosing a photographer (more details on that on the Q&A page).

I hope you enjoy our little announcement photos and a few outtakes! We are more than half way to meeting this sweet girl and I cannot wait!

When David posted his announcement photo on Instagram he appropriately quoted, “I don’t know what to do either, bud” under the headstand photo, ha! And, since we just had Father’s Day, I have to say that I know David will be the best little girl daddy. I cannot wait to see him melt!

Atlanta Dog Photography and Family Pet Portraits | Brie and Nala

This fall I met Brie and Nala at the Atlanta Lab Rescue first annual 5K race, and I was so excited when they followed back up with me this Spring! These two girlies are sweet, fun, and so well behaved. As you can see they live in paradise!
