Getting things up to par and giving a bit of a face lift to our site. Dana & Andrea Married :: Alpharetta, GA Wedding (part 2)

After a full morning of photos we headed over to the Metropolitan Club in Alpharetta. Both the wedding ceremony and reception were hosted at this site. There was just enough time to do some touch ups before guests began to arrive, and the ceremony filled with family and friends.

Thank you Dana and Andrea for meeting us months ago in the snow to talk about your wedding day, and for having us with you to celebrate! You all were SO FUN to be with, and we loved getting to know your family and friends. We hope that you had an amazing trip to Florida, and that you have a long and happy life together!

Dana & Andrea Married :: Alpharetta, GA Wedding

A few weekends ago Dana and Andrea were married at the Metropolitan Club in Alpharetta, GA. It was a picture perfect kind of day- we had blue skies and light breezes! What a far cry from the snowy winter day when we first met them for breakfast! Dana and Andrea were kind enough to trek up to Roswell during our snow storm of ’09. It must have been a great breakfast because they left us with a contract and we were set to be with them this summer!

I really anticipated their wedding day, it was going to be a new twist in the schedule from what we had been shooting all summer. They chose to have a “first look” and take care of all the portrait images before the ceremony. We had a BLAST! They had transportation to carry everyone around, and I truly feel like it got the party started early.

I love how David captured the details from the shoes in the mirror…

The Marriott provided such a great space for the ladies to get ready. Lots of room to spread out, and really enjoy the morning…

I LOVE the faces in the background…mom looking on, sisters helping, and expressions of love all around!

Dana surprised Andrea with a necklace that represented both of their families- carrying a diamond from each side!

Dana and the fellas were getting ready upstairs; David snuck in to grab some shots of them hanging out.

We left the Marriott and headed over to Mansell House and Gardens for some other pre-ceremony photos. This was the perfect location!

Proof that we have a good time! I kept telling them HOW AMAZING they looked, and it was true!

Va Va Voom….Andrea, you are SO gorgeous!

Monday Morning Wake-up call!

It is Monday again…how are the weeks going by so fast?

We have had a lot going on the past few weeks…that have now turned into months…but as we play catch up, and prepare for a new year, I love getting to stop and just LOVE MY JOB! I love that I get to take pictures that cast memories. I hope to share much more about what has been happening behind the scenes over here at ABJ Photography soon. AND, share much more from this amazing day!

Lee & Hayley Married :: Atlanta Wedding (part 2)

Lee and Hayley celebrated both their wedding and reception at Callanwolde. After we took a few photos of them together it was time for the BIG SURPRISE! They had been working on a secret dance, with dips and lifts, special for this day. I loved watching the faces of all of their loved ones as they danced around the room. They all loved it!

We had such a great night celebrating Lee and Hayley! We are so thankful that they chose us to cover their wedding day, and it was so nice to get to know their family and friends along the way. We wish you two such a happy life together, full of lots of fun adventures and joy!
