JP & Ellen : Engaged (part two)

I am super excited to share part two of our E:Session with JP and Ellen!!!!  I have to break these sessions up into two parts because there are so many favorites to share in just one post!  So, to pick up on our story, after we left Sope Creek we headed to downtown Roswell.  Ellen had the awesome idea of shooting around town and then heading  for some drinks at the end of the night…something we would never turn down!  Plus, we had the opportunity to try an amazing new restaurant in our sweet town-Inc. They did not disappoint!

I’ve said it once, I will say it again, thank you JP and Ellen for such a fun afternoon!  We cannot wait to share your wedding day with you!  Thank you for allowing us to try some new spots around town, and for sharing your lives with us for one afternoon!

JP & Ellen : Engaged (part one)

I first met Ellen over the phone a few months back.  She called and said that she found us online and was interested in meeting and chatting about wedding photography.  We were able to meet them at one of our favorite spots- Land of A Thousand Hills Coffee in Roswell.  We sat and chatted about their wedding day, and were super excited to hear that they will be celebrating down at the Roswell Mill.  Ok, if you know us at all, you should already be aware that these factors got us really excited!  We also learned that they had a very special spot where they got engaged- Sope Creek!

When we were planning their session we knew that we really wanted to start down by the ruins at Sope Creek.  What a romantic spot!  And, what an amazing piece of history.  We had so much fun laughing with these two.  I totally appreciate how they trusted us, had fun, and were willing to even climb up ON TOP OF the ruins for the sake of a few amazing shots!  I hope that this time together added to the amazing memories that they have from that special spot.

We had a blast at this location, but we have a super fun PART TWO to share with you all SO soon…To pre-register to view all the images when they are released please visit www.pictage.com/821419 for more details!

Fridays LIVE!

Celebrating another Friday y’all!  Here in ATL that means our first SMOG warning of the summa-time!  90 Degrees and SMOG…yummy!  I love it when I feel the humidity.  You may think I am strange, but I go to this place in my mind and think about the beach and the feeling of summer on my skin.  I don’t know, I guess it is just that the season of tan skin and tank-tops is here and I could not be more excited!  Don’t forget your sunscreen people!

What an amazing wedding season start we have had…these are the days I have been waiting for- dreaming about for months!  I love a full calendar and the opportunity to do what we love.  And, I am super thankful to do that with my husband of two years!  This week David and I celebrate two years of being married, being in Atlanta, the milestone of buying a home, getting out of all our debts, learning to love each other better each day, running our business, and living life together.  There is something in the beauty of celebrating marriage with each couple that we get to photograph.  The vow of marriage, and the anticipation of life together.  There is also something about being two years into marriage that is equally as amazing….and we are looking forward to many more years of that amazingness!

Things are humming over here and we are busy bees.  I am as excited about the current shoot we are on as I am about meeting with new clients for next year!  I know that is business…y’all are like, “well that is how it works Alana.” But for a small town girl living in this city with big dreams, I could not be more happy or more thankful.  We have the BEST clients, and I am ecstatic to be here in this place, right now.  So…I will stop this rambling…and GET BACK TO WORK!  Here is a sneak peak at what is to come very soon…

*Warning*Warning*Warning*

We may make you scale the walls of old Paper Mill ruins in N. GA for fabulous photos…and memories!

Ryan & Ashley : Married (part two)

After Ryan and Ashley tied the knot at The Mint Museum we headed off to Bentley’s on 27!  That means the 27th floor y’all!  Time to relax, grab an amazing meal, dance up a storm, and mingle with very special guests.  We had a chance to escape the rain and get some cool shots inside the Charlotte Plaza building.  It was a good time on the escalators, ha ha!

Thank you Ryan and Ashley!  We wish you all a lifetime of happiness together! We had such a great time celebrating with you all in Charlotte, NC!
